To accommodate students/researchers interested in hands on training and project works in different aspects of biological sciences, this educational organization has been conceptualized and founded in 2024. It has been established keeping in mind the scope of new education policy (NEP) of Government of India. mBio will provide students/researchers a rationally designed course to train them using state-of-arts research facility to make them knowledgeable, confident, independent about future research/academic/industry progress and creating entrepreneurship.
The motto of mBIO is to prepare the B.Sc/M.Sc students with innovative scientific teaching/research methodology for the next part of their academic life. It will work to facilitate the need of B.Sc students to understand multidisciplinary research aspects of biological sciences and provide exposure to all kind of modern day biological tools/techniques to answer variety of natural sciences questions. In addition, it will provide platform for M.Sc students towards accomplishing the national level research platforms for PhD studies in India or abroad or moving to biotech companies through exceptional hands on training with different kind of course modules.
mBio will provide platform to understand the impact of different fields of biological sciences under one roof with exceptional equipment facilities for performing hands on training/research and field studies under the guidance of qualified teachers and scientists. Students will choose topics of their dissertation/project work as per their bachelor/master subject and mBio will enable them towards transition of future academic/industry success.
We ascertain here that the students will receive the hands-on training and will be subjected towards rational scientific designing and hypothesis based project programs which might be translated into scientific papers for publication (if enough data is there). mBio will teach & train simultaneously for the overall academic growth of the students and will help them to complete their NEP course requirements. In addition, mBIO will showcase the impact of scientific discoveries on different field of natural sciences to the students through lectures (online/physical) by eminent researchers to uplift their scientific inquisitiveness and tenacity for embarking scientific career.
A special emphasis will be given by organising workshops on ‘Space Biology’ research. It is a fascinating field which studies the physiology of astronauts. We will use state of art equipments (all patented) and coordinated simulation to understand the changes in physiology perspectives using cutting edge molecular and cell biology approaches.
In addition, we will demonstrate through workshops how to maintain and culture the ‘Zebrafish’ facility for research purpose. It is very commonly used by the scientists for different kind of toxicology and cell biology research bolstered with molecular biology techniques.
