mBIO will offer hands on training courses/dissertation/project work following the NEP module for the students (undergraduate- B.Sc, B.Tech/postgraduate) in different subject areas covering the multidisciplinary approaches of entire biological sciences spectrum. Interested students already completed post-graduation or research scholars can also join the programs for enhancing their laboratory skill for future application to national/international PhD programs or industry transition.
The unique learning experience in a combination of teaching, laboratory hand on 9and field studies (required for – ecology, environmental studies, atmospheric sciences, fisheries, eco-toxicology, biodiversity etc) of the cutting edge biological sciences will allow the students to grasp the necessary skill sets and thought process for developing their scientific career/industry transition/employment and even entrepreneurship.
All the programs have been developed in consultation with the academicians & scientists keeping in mind the current scientific landscape. The course modules will be taught by the experts in the field with occasional seminar series by the scientists working in that field. We make it our top priority to guide/train each student to cutting edge science techniques from the scratch and prepare them for the future endeavours for moving to national/international masters/PhD programs or transition to industry.
mBIO also initiated a “Financial support for research” scheme to support few students/young research workers to carry out short term training/research activities in discounted prices. This scheme is especially for the ‘economically weaker students’. Proper documentation is needed for processing the application and availing the discount.
A special emphasis will be given by organising workshops on ‘Space Biology’ research. It is a fascinating field which studies the physiology of astronauts. We will use state of art equipments (all patented) and coordinated simulation to understand the changes in physiology perspectives using cutting edge molecular and cell biology approaches.
In addition, we will demonstrate through workshops how to maintain and culture the ‘Zebrafish’ facility for research purpose. It is very commonly used by the scientists for different kind of toxicology and cell biology research bolstered with molecular biology techniques.
The certificate of participation mentioning training details will be given to the students.
